How much mojo can a guitar have? With this 1961 Telecaster in beautiful and extremely rare "Faded Fiesta Red" only superlatives come to mind. It really has everything that makes a dream Telecaster! The interesting look of the special, only subtle aged finish in combination with the era-appropriate greenguard and the deep dark AAA rosewood fingerboard makes the Rock'n'Roll just flow out of the case. And when you pick up this Telecaster and stroke the wafer-thin nitrocellulose lacquer of the body and the stripped back of the neck you realize that the look is not over-promising. The guitar vibrates really well even when played dry and the comfortable "60 Style Oval C" neck profile, combined with a 9.5'' fingerboard radius and the proven Narrow/Tall frets, plays first-class. From the first chord you realize that this guitar is loud, balanced and has exactly the right bass and mids. On the amp Tele at its best! Warm and bluesy the "Handwound Twisted Tele" pickup on the neck is convincing across the board and the "Handwound OBG" pickup on the bridge is beautifully direct, wiry, fat with a great attack, but always round and never too sharp. The intermediate position delights with a wonderful bell-tone, great for both clean and distorted sounds. This Tele is fun to play, it's an instrument that not only looks extremely good, but also combines the very best sounds with a great playing feel. We are delighted to be able to offer you this fantastic Telecaster in mint condition.
