The brilliant masterbuilder Kyle McMillin has simply combined the best of both worlds with this 1960 Ultra Relic Strat: heavy aging with considerable abrasion, which gives this black Superstrat an appearance as if it had already been used for the recording of Van Halen's first album. This combined with a white pickguard and a roasted maple neck. What a great road worn look! In contrast the spec sheet reads as if you were looking at a Suhr or Tom Anderson: Modern C neck profile and 9.5"-12" compound radius, Medium Jumbo frets, tremolo with plug-in lever, two noiseless singlecoils and an EVH humbucker on the bridge. Accordingly not only is the handling - especially with the lacquer-free back of the neck - simply phenomenal, but the sound is also a hum-free delight for all those who are looking for sawing Rock boards and crystal-clear Strat sounds at the same time. The humbucker in particular delivers such authentic Van Halen sounds that you're immediately in seventh Rock heaven, but the two singlecoils are also suitable for bluesy Clapton licks and pearly Mark Knopfler runs. With this HSS-Strat you really have a perfect combination that you will want to play for hours on end and with which you will feel completely at home in all styles of music. We are pleased to be able to offer you this guitar in mint condition.
