Kyle McMillin belongs to the younger generation of masterbuilders. He had already worked at Fender for 15 years before he was trained by Senior Masterbuilder Yuriy Shishkov and then given the venerable title. So far we have been thrilled with every one of his guitars - the combination of sound, look and playability has always been first class! This is also the case with this Stratocaster in wonderfully worn, matt Vintage White. By his standards McMillin has held back a little on the relicing here and given the Strat a super authentic appearance with exactly the signs of aging that you would expect from a real old one. And its player characteristics are also convincing across the board. Although it presents a classic vintage look this Stratocaster offers quite modern features that guarantee an extremely comfortable and convenient playing experience. The neck with its stripped back, 9.5''-12'' compound radius, Modern-C profile and Narrow/Tall frets sits comfortably in the hand and invites you to play with maximum speed. Even more beautiful than its look is the sound of this dream Strat. Poblano pickups, handwound by Josefina Campos herself, are used here, which are wound a little hotter, are comparatively a little more energetic and direct and have always been one of my favorites: pearly, bell-like sound, balanced with a slight compression as we know it from old Strats. Nice and round with a great attack and enough depth and warmth. We are pleased to be able to offer you this in all respects perfect guitar in mint condition.
