When it comes to masterbuilder Vincent van Trigt it is no longer possible to speak of a "new" shooting star in the Custom Shop firmament. Thanks to his absolute masterpieces of recent years, in which not only his phenomenal aging, but also the fantastically tuned sound and top playability were convincing, he has definitely established himself as one of the best and most sought-after masterbuilders, which is also reflected in the fact that he has not been accepting any more orders for several months now and you have to expect waiting times for his instruments of more than 10(!) years. And his fantastic craftsmanship is also evident in this '59 Stratocaster. Wonderfully authentic Heavy Relicing that is a little more subtle by his standards to create a unique vintage patina together with the matt finish. Numerous hairline cracks, minor and major imperfections and characteristic abrasions ... every time you look at this gem you can enjoy a new detail that Vincent has applied with the utmost meticulousness. Matching to that is the era-appropriate greenguard and the dark rosewood fingerboard. With the "60 Style Oval C" neck profile, 9.5" fingerboard radius, lacquer-free neck back and the proven Narrow/Tall frets this Stratocaster is also extremely comfortable to play and offers an excellent feel. The guitar has an extremely percussive and sustain-rich basic character and the three handwound "Fat 50's" singlecoils provide the perfect sound on the amp: brilliant, clear with lots of twang, but still without harsh highs and with enough belly - that's what you want from a '59 Masterbuilt! Whether Blues, Rock, Pop or Funk, this guitar delivers everything in top style and with plenty of character. All classic Strat sounds are excellently served. So if you want a Stratocaster that not only looks good, but also has excellent sound characteristics, this is the guitar for you. We would also like to mention for the sake of completeness that guitars from van Trigt are constantly increasing in value due to their desirability and the associated rarity value. We can offer you this unique instrument in mint condition.
