What an absolute dream Strat! It really makes you go into raptures. Because here you get an instrument that fulfills the highest sound and player demands and looks really good at the same time. You get the feeling that this Strat has already been played and swung in for 30 years. Even when played dry it is super resonant, percussive and shows its full potential at the amp with plenty of attack. The "Handwound 59" pickups deliver the perfect mapleneck sound! Extremely direct, nice and punchy with great overtones. Wonderful Hendrix tones on the neck and the bridge delivers the fat, rich tones of a full-blooded Rock guitar. That's really a lot of fun! The handwound pickups show their best side here. Comfortable playability is guaranteed with the very pleasant "52 Style U" neck profile (.860-.920"), 9.5'' radius and the proven 6105 frets. And now to the killer look: The original plan was only to finish this Stratocaster in "Aged Sonic Blue". However, as you can see from the handwritten notes on the spec sheet, this was extended to a Heavy Relicing, which only makes the beautiful appearance of this guitar even more perfect. Various hairline cracks, paint abrasion in the right places, numerous flaws and even different shades of color have been incorporated. Masterbuilder Jason Smith has really shown here where the aging hammer hangs! The phenomenally beautiful AA-flame neck and a pickguard that matches the color of the guitar are also a perfect fit. Wow, just wow...
